Bunsteads, Haircut, Zoo, and Picnic

It has been quite a weekend! DS ate bunsteads for the first time on Saturday. ((They are a family recipe tuna, egg, cheese salad heated in a hotdog bun.) Daddy gave him his first haircut. It looks pretty good. We've learned a few things. Next time he'll do better around DS's ears and probably won't go directly over his cowlick. Yesterday we went to the zoo and DH carried DS around in the petting farm area. DS didn't actually pet any of the animals, but he was very interested in watching them. He was eye to eye with the cow and the horse, and enjoyed watching other children feed the lambs and kids. After the zoo, we had a barbeque picnic in the park. DS ate half of a hot dog, some baked beans, and some potato salad. So far we haven't found anything that he absolutely won't eat, although some things are definitel last choices if favorites are available. What a great weekend!
