Today is cycle day 1. This will be my first COH cycle.
In the past I have done 3 cycles of stimulation with CC and IUI. The past 2 months I haven't done anything "extra", just good old-fashioned love-making, or sometimes just plain ol' sex. Now we're moving up the technology ladder to COH. If it doesn't work this cycle (the word "cycle" is used in infertility treatment instead of "month" most of the time to avoid confusion with the calendar month), we may try once more, or we may move to IVF, or we may stop. Whether to do IVF is a big decision that we are still working on.
My task this week is to research pharmacies and decide which one will get my money for all the drugs. Fortunately we have 10 tablets of CC left over from when my husband took it to try to increase his sperm counts, so I only need to buy the other meds. (Low sperm counts are most of our known problem, but I ovulate irregularly, too. By the way, CC helped his testosterone level, but did not help make more spermies.)

Here we go on the wild journey to have a baby!
Actually my husband and I have been on the journey to have a baby for several years. Right now we are increasing the level of infertility treatment medicines and technology that we are using, and I thought that a blog would be helpful both to me and to others trying to have a baby (and perhaps finding out like we did, that they were really wasting money on birth control for years).
Some blog entries will be current -- treatment plans, emotions, soul searching, etc.; some will be historical -- how we got to where we are today, what we have already tried, and websites that I have found helpful; and hopefully some might even be hysterical (but I'm probably not as funny as I like to think I am).
