He had been there 17 days and they noticed on his chart (or his body) that he had not been. We said, "no", and that was it. I've read a lot of scary things on the internet about what some people encounter regarding circumcision and other common yet actually optional practices. Either I'm very lucky or Kansas isn't as "backward" as the media makes it out to be. :-)
